You are beyond compare.

Make a list of everything you appreciate…keep going, continue, don’t stop!

Feel all your feelings, but only magnify the good ones.

Today is the day to make up something good.

Now is the perfect time to dream…

Play more. Sing more. Dance more. Love more.

Discover what works best for you, then work it.

Allow what is and accept what is not.

Is your soul calling out for a change?

Your mindset matters more than your circumstances.

If happiness is a choice, why don’t you choose it?

The light you long for is within.

Ordinary people do extraordinary things all the time.

Your values are there to guide you, your feelings fuel the journey.

Imagine a love affair with yourself.

What you can be, you must be.

Life is a creative adventure; do your part and create.

Say something new.

Commit with your whole heart, then do what it takes to follow through.

Start living your life the way you want.

What would you do with only one day?

Let your secrets come out to play!

When you notice what’s working, your experience of it expands.

It’s the little things and small moments that turn your dreams into reality.

Just because there is no map doesn’t mean we shouldn’t explore new territory.

Question the beliefs that keep you in the dark.

Lead your own rebellion.

What is your heart longing for?

You’ll figure it out. Trust yourself.

Your words matter.

Choose to open.

Give up apologizing. Own your bigness instead.

It’s time to celebrate the awesomeness of you.

A new beginning and all possibilities exist.

Anything that taps into a better feeling state is worth exploring.

Own your desires, and ask for what you want.

Speak up. Pay attention. Celebrate your you-ness.

Let go of what no longer holds value.

All is well. There is no other shoe to drop.

Rebel. Buck the trend. Try something different.

Choose love over fear every time.

Embrace change, but don’t rush it.

Own who you are without apology.

Who you are is an extraordinary being.

Get out of your head, and into your body.

You are the one you’ve been waiting for.

Your purpose is what you say it is.

Feed your soul in any way that feels good to you.

Set yourself in motion. Exchange your inertia for freedom.

Be in service to your desires.

Freedom has many flavours. What’s yours?

You are rooted, wild, and free; lean back and feel your strength.

You’re already connected to everyone and everything.

Tell the truth to get unstuck.

Life isn’t an all or nothing game.

What keeps you from feeling free? Look there.

Let go of what you know and make room for the now.

Where you are afraid, you are not free.

Coherence happens when you connect your heart and mind.

Celebrate what you love.

Honour what’s true for you, and to hell with the rest.

Wake up and notice the different.

Love creates the foundation of reality.

Writing this post was a reminder…

Even the most challenging times have gems, but you have to come through the darkness to see them.

Rebel Requirements (the truth about what it takes)

Trust is the first requirement if you want to be a rebel.

You’ve got to trust yourself, even when it goes against the flow.

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently…”

You may be judged, but here’s the thing. . .

They’re already judging you for something or other, why not have it be for doing something you love, something you believe in?

Free from judgement and liberated from your fears, what would you be, do and have in your life?

And I’m not talking about fighting against things, although that’s what we mostly think about a rebel. I’m talking about fighting FOR something; that thing that is important to you, and makes your heart sing.

That kind of fight takes heart and soul, and the courage of a true rebel spirit.

If you want to be a rebel…

Say what you want to say, and fuck the ‘right’ thing.

Trust your intuition, it’s more reliable than the masses.

“It’s pure instinct that makes me rebel every time someone tries to control my life and hand out more rules.” – Simone Elkeles

Put yourself first, for the good of all.

Wear your heart on your sleeve, and tell folks you love ’em.

Do what gives you pleasure.

Open up, share, be vulnerable. Let people in and they might surprise you by taking a stand right next to you.

Make the first move, tell the truth, be the last to let go of a hug.

Ask more questions. Question authority. Do it without apology.

“What you want can be yours. But you must first know what it is you want.” – Libby Bray

Own your desires, and ask for what you want.

Hungry for Rebellion

“Being yourself, being who you are,
is a successful rebellion.” – Unknown

definition of rebellion

Brene Brown says,

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of everything we are hungry for.”

A rebel is the embodiment of this, taking a stand for what’s important, what they hunger for.

It’s contrary to the widely held view that a rebel fights against something.

Instead it’s the fight for something that fuels their fire.

With so much pressure to confirm, has your rebel become dormant?

Suppressed and shut down by the push to:

  • go with the flow
  • never rock the boat
  • be seen and not heard
  • keep your head down and stay safe

The primal fear of being kicked out of the tribe is powerful. We do so want to belong, but at what cost?

The cost is that you sell out on what you desire, what you most hunger for in life.

It’s a cost that eats away at your soul.

Do it long enough and you hardly notice. . .

Until one day someone speaks of rebellion in a new way and your ears perk up. Your heart flutters, the spark comes to life, rekindled as the old way is challenged.

That day has come.

I’m asking you to see yourself as a rebel, a *deva-lutionary willing to question the beliefs that have long kept you in the dark.

It’s time to wake up, to rebel, to become relentless in this pursuit.

You can do this.

* A deva-lutionary is committed to questioning the beliefs that have kept her in the dark. She changes the world by looking inward, igniting a revolution from the inside out. She rebels for that which is important to her, not for the sake of rebellion itself.

A deva-lutionary has the heart and courage to be herself without apology, a warrior willing to do what it takes to play in the light.
