Druids, seers, wizards, sorcerers, psychics, fortune tellers and gypsies.
I am none of those but I have a crystal ball.
Come closer and look within.
See a you that is whole and complete.
Unfettered. Untainted. Pure.
No thoughts, no stories,
A perfect blank slate.
You were born this way.
Remember?
“Stop searching here and there, the Jewels are inside you.” – Rumi
Maybe not.
Life causes you…
To forget.
To shrink.
To hide your light.
But that you, is still there.
Patient, waiting.
It knows…
You already know how to shine.
The search is over.

How does this not have more comments? what the hell is going on? This is beautiful. So glad my lazy ass didn’t miss this.
Some times with pieces like this I like that there’s very little engagement. I make it mean that I struck a chord and the reader is speechless 😉
And I’m glad your lazy ass dropped by too!
this is beautiful!! i wanted to comment earlier but i couldn’t on internet explorer…it’s amazing!
As beautiful as your friendship. xoS
This is the MOST amazing photograph, Sandi. Absolutely as beautiful as the vision it contains. The other day I bought a witch’s ball — a large glass globe very similar to your Christmas tree ornament but larger. Witch’s balls used to be hung in windows to ward off evil spirits. They come in all sorts of beautiful colors, and at first I was going to buy a cobalt blue one because I am a collector of cobalt blue glass. But I was drawn to a clear witch’s ball instead. I knew I was going to use it to gaze into and do some vision work. So I freaked out just a little bit when I read this post and saw your photograph. We really are cosmic twins, aren’t we? 🙂
Carol, was there any doubt about that cosmic thing going on? I also have a beautiful greenish witch’s ball hanging in my dining room window. The one in the photo though I shot through a window as I waited for the bus last night. Caught my eye and a bit of my spirit!
Well, of course my witch’s ball is greenish too. BTW, I paged through some of your Flickr photos (inspired by the photo on this post). I love the images you choose to capture and your captions about each of them. I’m seeing a combination photo/personal essays book in your future. 🙂
Love this idea! Must include in my 2012 intentions 🙂
This is powerful. Illuminating. Edifying. The images are so great and so clear, perfect illustrations of who we think we are and how we actually could be. Thank you so much for putting this together. I’m off to share it now! 😀
