Reflections From A Retreat
Here I am, again.
Reacquainted with my Self.
Time slows down,
Here.
Here, I am in need. . .
Of rest and connection.
It always seems easier,
Here.
Here I am, ready,
To let go of all plans.
To start anew,
Here.
Here, I am centred.
I am always here,
But I’m only now,
Remembering.
Remembering.

Chills. I love how much you grow when you return from your retreats. Your words are raw and full of clarity. Love it, and you.
These retreats are nourishing on so many levels, and the best of me floats to the surface.
Perfect…
beautiful words … and centering, so very important to us all in the manic day and age in which we live!
Thanks for that Sandi, where was your retreat? I want to go!
You can read about Rivendell at http://www.rivendellretreat.org/. It’s run by a Christian community but welcomes and includes all those who need rest and silence. One of my favourite places in the world.
I can only imagine the beautiful silence and ability to think and be calm. Nice.
Love the luscious words. This was soul nourishment for you.
Mind-body-soul nourishment. The best gift I give myself every year.
Very nice!!!
This is amazing.
The Rivendell Retreat Centre is considered a living sanctuary. You’d love it Daniel!
Sounds beautiful… I’d love to visit a place like that. I love reading this, I get a feeling of peace and centeredness everytime I read it.
Beautiful Sandi. Made me stop, centre, listen to myself and crave my next retreat!
Hi and welcome back Sandi. I can feel the new power coming from your retreat through this post.
To being centered 🙂
Yes, the batteries are fully recharged 😉
