I’ve been thinking a lot about the World Domination Summit.
It would be a gross understatement to say it rocked me to the core, in ways both expected and surprising.
Surprising in that I noticed where I still hold back.
That there’s another layer. Opening deeper, embracing more, living in the now.
It’s a practice.
Ongoing till my last breath.
“Spiritual practice is like eating for the heart.” – Mark Silver
Opening as a practice.
Opening and expressing.
Why I’m here.
Purpose. Mission. Path.
Call it what you will.
I call it my heart’s desire.
I’m here to create a supernova-like collision that cracks open your brilliance so it becomes impossible not to take action on what’s important in your life.
I’m here to kick your ass and love you more than socially acceptable, because you were born to shine.
Now. Not someday.
Today.
Because there’s no time like the present and deathbed regrets suck.
Your words are heard.
So right now, in this moment what would you say about your heart’s desire?
Say it now in the comments below.
Hi Sandi!
It’s nice to meet you! I just joined your Tribe!
What would I say about my heart’s desire? I remember reading a story years about an old wise man and a young fellow and they were talking about different career options. As the young boy mentioned different ones the old man responded. I don’t remember it well and can’t find it online 🙁 but it went something like this: When I told him I was a writer he put his head down and cried, indicating how hard it was to be a writer.
My heart would say, “I’m doing it. Anyway! I’m WRITING!!!!!”
Have a great weekend!
Lori
Lori,
Love the “I’m doing it anway!”
Wow Sandi. Tell it like it is Girl. I love this. Thanks to my friend Lori, at “Life for Instance” for the RT. I am committed to share and spread the message of C.A.R.E. ( Communicate, Appreciate, Respect, Encourage ). My goal is to help improve morale and attitudes in the workplace through this message. We need this desperately, not only at work but in our society as well. I have found my Passion and we WILL make a difference ! thank you.
Al
Wow Al! Thanks for sharing your heart’s desire! I get the commitment and can’t wait to watch you make that difference!
Sandi, your passion and enthusiasm never cease to wow me. I’m so inspired by you and feel blessed to share your light! What would I say about my heart’s desire?
I am here to be brilliantly me, shine my light, and cultivate and share my gifts with everyone I know.
It’s happening!
Elana,
It IS happening and I’m so glad you see that 🙂
Hey Sandi!
With a bit of inspiration (re-activation, or desire stimulation, call it anything) from a “moon” friend, I just got back to creating music again. With no decision, it just happened, and was helped by nearly 5 days of Internet disconnection, it felt like one year! But here I am, in an updated version of me, : )
I don’t know a single bit about WDS (what it is and who’s organizing it, a shame, I know) but I’m glad you had a lot of fun there, and maybe even more than just fun.
Wishing you even best of the best things to come!
See you,
K’
WDS is a bit challenging to describe Karim! Not just a conference, but more of a gathering of creative, generous, big-hearted people coming together to exchange ideas and connect. YOU would love it I think!
Oh, Sandi! I am loving the words & inspiration coming from WDS. Thanks for bringing back some WDS vibe and sharing it with your readers (I really want to be there next year)!
Your title here, Your Words are Heard, is so heart-touching; I think being seen and heard is our (everyone’s) biggest wish (maybe even our biggest need!).
I’m here to encourage & support Square-Pegs (Square-Peg=Rebel heart+sensitive soul+inquisitive mind=MINDful Nonconformist) to revel in (and live) their uniqueness – to shine their diamond-like brilliance out into (and for) the round-hole world!
With your passion & enthusiasm, and that awesome declaration you’ve really got to be there next year Karen!
Yes, the power is in acting now, in the present. I know a lot of people who went to the WDS and they had nothing but incredible things to say about it. It seems like there was a lot of great energy flowing around Portland that weekend. Cheers – I’m happy to hear you were a part of it.
