Before I discovered coaching, photography was my passion and before that, painting.
One of the painters that inspired me (not only with her art but also in how she lived her life) was Georgia O’Keefe. Today as I wandered the streets of Santa Fe I couldn’t help but think of her and the land that captured her heart.
“I decided that if I could paint that flower in a huge scale, you could not ignore its beauty.” – Georgia O’Keefe
“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for.” – Georgia O’Keefe
“To create one’s own world in any of the arts takes courage.” – Georgia O’Keefe
Santa Fe has long been on my list of places to visit and it feels wonderful to finally be here. I am soaking up the sun, the colours and of course, the spirit.
What place is calling to you, and why?

Gor-geous! Aahh it looks like a soulful place to spend time!
It’s an interesting place for sure! I think beyond the touristy facade there is a very soulful, nourishing energy which I’ve been feeling off and on.
I love Santa Fe… such a great place. If you like massages you have to go to Thousand Waves spa, it’s ‘to die for’.
Have fun. I’m envious that you’re off answering the call. If I could travel right now it would be to the beach; right on the ocean where I can hear the pounding surf and watch the waves.
I’d be a little careful which spirits I was soaking up going off the pictures. Creey mofos.
I think they’re inspiring mofos 😉
These pictures are absolutely beautiful. Love the earth tones in them.
Great pictures. Love the question. Made me reflect on all the places that call to me. Some out of need or necessity, some for sanctity and solitude, some for fun or some for inspiration.
You are truly an instigator.
