I’m always up for a challenge, especially when I know it’s going to leave me feeling a rampage of appreciation.
Judy Dunn wrote in the post that inspired me, 99 Things I Love, that in doing this exercise,

Yes! to Canadian spelling:) Salted dark chocolate…something I will try. I dislike chocolate (immensely) but I can go for dark chocolate on occasion. Virgin journals…yes, yes, yes…they seem to find me, as do books. I almost wrote the “crunching through autumn leaves” in my list too. I do believe we’re kindred spirits on many of these. Cheers! Kaarina
KDillabough The Lindt dark chocolate with sea salt is my favourite. And yes to kindred spirits! I read your list again and realized we had a lot of overlap!
p.s. I have a box in my office full of journals, waiting patiently to be used…but I keep buying more. One of my quirks 😉
I saw KDillabough Kaarina’s list – and thought, I’ve gotta do it and started writing it. Now I am delighted to see yours, Sandi Amorim ! Hugs and Happy Thanksgiving!
Vidya Sury I always feel this day is a bonus because I’ve already celebrated Thanksgiving a month ago. But we can never feel too much gratitude and appreciation, can we Vidya? 😉
Sandi Amorim I firmly believe there are 365 Thanksgiving Days (and 366 in Leap years) 😀 Can never feel too much appreciation. <3
Sandi Amorim You and me both Sandi:) I find that when I’m in a bookstore or somewhere with books and journals, they literally “find” me. Sometimes it even takes me a while to put that first word on the page, because the pristine page is so beckoning, yet so untouched…like new fallen snow. Now mind you, once I put that first pen to paper, I’m on a roll. And now I must hunt down Lindt dark chocolate with sea salt. Cheers! Kaarina
Sandi Amorim KDillabough I love that chocolate! Have you tried their salted caramel dark chocolate bar? It’s new, and I can’t find it anywhere anymore. Foodgasmic!
Ellen Berg Salted carmel dark chocolate? Must. Go. Shopping! Are you open to trying that too KDillabough?
p.s. Foodgasmic? New fave description!
Don’t know about #47!!! 🙂 But I loved reading your list, Sandi. I feel like I got a deeper glimpse into your life and you. This is a great exercise to do any time of the year, but for us Americans, it’s a great one to do today as we emerge from our turkey-induced comas. Thanks for sharing this and yourself with us, Sandi.
Sandi Amorim Ellen Berg Not a fan of carmel, so I’ll stick with dark salted. But it does sound foodgasmic:)
LOVE!
Carol Hess What surprised me was that the fir 40-50 things just flowed out of me, and then I had to start thinking! I realized in that moment how easy it is to take things for granted, and why there’s so much value in this exercise.
What are some of your favoUrite things Carol? 😉
LolaSpeaking #102 – I love that you LOVE this!
Sandi Amorim LolaSpeaking And I love that you love that I love this. 🙂 (this could go on for awhile).
I like to think I’m included in #14, #79 since every time we do #14 one of us cries and that we share #’s 67 & 69 (*giggle*),
I’m totally gonna do one!
LolaSpeaking #67 & #69 are ones only brave souls admit in public 😉
Sandi Amorim Carol Hess Oh yeah, Baby! You just said a mouthful. Yesterday made me realize that big time — how much I take for granted in my life that is really a precious gift. Number one on my list of things I love is ME. Really, truly. I think I am one of the most wonderful people I know. 🙂 I love my cousins who are more like brothers and sisters than cousins. And I love words — no matter how they’re spelled — and their power to create communication, connection, and even change if we let them. High on my love list are cats and how even ones who don’t know me seem to immediately know I’m a cat person. I feel hono(u)red when they come to me and no one else in the room! I love New England — it is so incredibly beautiful. And our rocks and boulders and stones — some of my favorite things. And the moss and lichens that grow on them. I love coming into my warm home after being away from it all day — it looks and smells and feels like such a welcoming place. So that’s a few of my faves, Sandi. Thanks for asking!
Carol Hess That does it….we MUST visit you on the east coast!
Sandi Amorim Carol Hess Duh!
Really enjoyed reading your list Sandi. Based on your comment below re 67 and 69, I am a brave soul!!!!!
What a wonderful exercise
Ali_Davies Haha, love that Ali! What would you put on your list?
Suzie Cheel I love meeting Abba fans! Wish we could have an Abba dance party, and I’d add that to my list Suzie!
Love this list Sandi! Perfect for this time of year. 🙂
What a great list, Sandi. I can see that we have quite a few loves in common! I might try doing a post on this too and link to you and Judy! 🙂
Sandi Amorim Gosh, don’t ask me that Sandi – we will be here for hours!!! Will just pick a couple from major changes this year – living in Vancouver and starting to homeschool our son. And on the business front – being self employed which gives me the freedom to change my focus when I want (major biz change just being born!!)
treatmenttalk Thanks Cathy! Even though we celebrated our Thanksgiving last month, I felt the wave of gratitude and went with it 🙂
CorinneRodrigues1 Now you’ve made me curious! What do we have in common Corinne?
And thanks for popping by; I’m looking forward to our connection!
So much to love in life. Who’d judge you for Abba…my daughter and I spent one short bus ride taking it in turns to sing a snippet of an Abba song, no repeats allowed!
ElleSommer I think I’d like to travel with you Elle! 🙂
So awesome! I once sat down and wrote a post about 300 things to love about life right now, no matter what. Surprised me how easy it was once I opened up and really looked at things with a fresh perspective 🙂 Woo to the hoo, Sandikins!
