  1. Awesomesauce!!

This quote, attributed to Benjamin Franklin really impacted me.

“Some people die at 25 and aren’t buried until 75.”

It made me get up and go for my dream.

  2. Sandi is strutting her anti-someday Lola stuff and doing her anti-someday dance!  I love it!

I don’t have a quote, but I did stumble across something somewhere (don’t you like my grasp of details?) that said someday thinking was about believing that things would happen automagically.  It was that word “automagically” that got me.  Guilty as charged.

I’m crushing my someday thinking by reminding myself over and over how I felt the day I thought my life was about to end.  I was SO devastated to think I had wasted my “one precious life” and would leave no legacy behind.  I do NOT want to feel that way ever again, and most especially I don’t want to feel that way when my life is indeed about to end.

  3. I’m crushing my sunday by installing the g****n kitchen sink that’s been sitting in my storage shed for months TODAY!

    1. I’m not a parent Jack, but I do get the challenge. I think though it would be so inspiring for your kids to see their dad pursuing his dreams! What better lesson could a parent given their children?

  4. Great selection of quotes Sandi……..I have taken” someday “out of my vocabulary and will see you in B.C. this year…..after I go to Disney with Sara, Rob and grandkids in Aug……have a wonderful vacation

  5. Great quotes and thanks for sharing.  Though I will say that sometimes, there is information in the waiting or the resistance to start something.  And, if in the waiting, you choose nurturing over shaming or “should-ing,” you might actually be feeding your dreams.  I loved #20 with regard to how you take any action, whether it’s waiting or acting.  I so appreciate your voice and these timely reminders of gettin’ after it.

    1. Yes, I agree about that aspect of waiting. The problem I see though is too many people waiting as a way to protect themselves from failure. But that protection keeps them from ever really pursuing their dreams.

  6. The messages about ACTION speak the loudest to me right now – as there can only be so much planning before you realize you’re stuck in the “someday mentality”!

So I will crush my someday by doing – simple steps each and every day, slowly but surely integrate elements of my dream life into my reality.

  7. Enjoyed reading these.  One of my fav quotes is:
People are always asking about the good old days.  I say, why don’t you say the good now days?  ~Robert M. Young

  8. Totally love this butt kicking post. I always pull people up who say `Someday I’ll….” and say make that today. I also love `When would now be a good time to start?’ from Anthony Robbins

  9. Totally love this butt kicking post. I always pull people up who say `Someday I’ll….” and say make that today. I also love `When would now be a good time to start?’ from Anthony Robbins

  10. Great post ,
I love this quot …“Someday, we’ll run into each other again, I know it.Maybe I’ll be older and smarter and just plain better. If that happens, that’s when I’ll deserve you. But now, at this moment, you can’t hook your boat to mine, because I’m liable to sink us both.” ― Gabrielle Zevin
