Dear Georgia (or why I came to Santa Fe)

Before I discovered coaching, photography was my passion and before that, painting.

One of the painters that inspired me (not only with her art but also in how she lived her life) was Georgia O’Keefe. Today as I wandered the streets of Santa Fe I couldn’t help but think of her and the land that captured her heart.

“To create one’s own world in any of the arts takes courage.” – Georgia O’Keefe

Santa Fe has long been on my list of places to visit and it feels wonderful to finally be here. I am soaking up the sun, the colours and of course, the spirit.

What place is calling to you, and why?

  1. I love Santa Fe… such a great place. If you like massages you have to go to Thousand Waves spa, it’s ‘to die for’.
Have fun. I’m envious that you’re off answering the call. If I could travel right now it would be to the beach; right on the ocean where I can hear the pounding surf and watch the waves.

  2. Great pictures. Love the question. Made me reflect on all the places that call to me. Some out of need or necessity, some for sanctity and solitude, some for fun or some for inspiration.
    You are truly an instigator.
